Sämling von C. x ‘Inspiration’, die Farbe ist ein kräftiges Pink, die Blüten sind hingegen einfach. Im Gegensatz zum unregelmäßigen Wachstum mit stark überhängenden sehr flexiblen Zweigen von ‘Inspiration’ besteht hier ein gleichmäßiges kompakt aufrechtes stabiles Wachstum. Ob ‘Eusomnia’auch  eine so ausgeprägt gute Winterhärte aufweist, bleibt noch abzuwarten (‘Inspiration’ ist hier die wohl winterhärteste aller zahlreichen Kamelien, sie steht an unterschiedlichen Standorten).

In contrast to the irregular growth with strongly overhanging, very flexible branches of ‘Inspiration’, the growth here is uniform, compact and upright. It remains to be seen whether ‘Eusomnia’ also has such markedly good winter hardiness (‘Inspiration’ is probably the most winter-hardy of all the numerous camellias here, it is grown in different locations).
