Kräftig rote Knospen öffnen sich zu einer  pinkfarbigen ginkonagroßen Blüte, wobei sich das Zentrum zwischen dem schlundnahen roten Kranz und dem Rand fast weiß abhebt. Es ist die erste größere bemerkenswerte Blüte mit dieser Farbe, ein lange angestrebtes Züchtungsziel. Gesunder kräftiger Wuchs.

Der Name ist ein Akronym für Julia Westhoff . Sie war ab Anfang der 90 er Jahre für 15 Jahre Direktorin des Rhododendron-Parks in Bremen.
