Rückschnitt einer Kalmie im Alter von 27 Jahren (unbenannte Schwester von K.l. ‘Mitternacht’)
bei einer Höhe von 1,80 m und einer Breite von ebenfalls 1,80 m im Juni 2015. Standort extrem  sonnig und trocken, Blüten öffneten sich nicht.
Obwohl das Holz hart und spröde ist, der Neuaustrieb ist bei Kalmien außergewöhnlich.

Pruning of a kalmia at the age of 27 (unnamed sister of K.l. ‘Mitternacht’)
with a height of 1.80 m and a width of 1.80 m in June 2015. Extremely sunny and dry location, flowers did not open.
Although the wood is hard and brittle, the new shoots of kalmia are exceptional.
